I was born and raised in Radcliffe and have lived here all my life. From a young age I have been actively involved in my local community and across Radcliffe.

I attended my first local Tenants and Residents meeting when I was just 9 years old and carried on to volunteer and work with various organisations and community groups including; local tenants associations, the Park Ranger Service, Bury Youth Service and many other organisations. I was then in 2009, elected as the Chair of Bury Youth Cabinet and in May 2010 I was elected by young people across the borough as the Member of Youth Parliament for Bury.

Radcliffe is not just a place to live for me, it is a place to call home. In difficult times Radcliffe Labour has fought for significant sums to be invested in the area. We have seen the refurbishment of the Market Hall, a new Bus Station will be built in 2015 along with new swimming facilities. All at a time when the Council’s funding has been slashed by the Conservative Government.

This is just the start of the regeneration of Radcliffe and I will do all that I can to ensure the investment continues.
